TH entered the REAP Women’s Program from state prison. She was alone without family or any other support. Prior to going to prison, she struggled with a severe mental health disorder and alcoholism. TH is a talented artist that had never been published. After a year in the REAP program TH has rebuilt a relationship with her family. She was blessed to reconnect with her father prior to his death. TH has illustrated a children’s book to be published in 2022. She lives independently and regularly attends her support groups. TH has been free of alcohol for 6 years and plans to continue her life of art and sobriety. We salute all her efforts and look forward to her mentoring other REAP women in the future.
